Cambridge Satchel Co.

It was my 18th birthday a few weeks ago, and as usual, I was spoilt rotten! One of my favourite presents was a lovely Batchel, off my grandparents, from the Cambridge Satchel Co (available online at https://www.cambridgesatchel.com/). I cannot actually put into word how much I love this bag.

Mine is the 15" Batchel in 'Classic'. What is a Batchel, I hear you ask? Its a cross between a briefcase and a satchel. The only main difference between a Batchel and the other satchels from Cambridge Satchel Co, is a handle on top of the bag, which gives you another option of how to style and wear it.

The bag itself is made of 100% natural leather, and its entire finish just reeks of quality (literally, the smell of leather was phenomenal).  However, the practicality of the bag does suffer slightly as a result; the thick leather limits the amount of space inside the bag (I can fit my laptop, a couple notebooks and my purse in at push). The high quality of the stitching amazed me, and while the vintage style buckles may annoy some people (you have to undo them each time, rather than a press stud or magnet), these features give the product a distinctive feel of luxury.

I ordered mine from the website and delivery was quick and easy. My Batchel arrived 5 days after placing my order, in a lovely canvas bag to protect the leather, which was then covered is a lot of cardboard and bubbblewrap - at least you know it won't get damaged in transition!

Overall I do love this product, and as long as you're looking for a satchel that is big on quality, I'm sure you will to!
